The Hunter Biopsy Sealing Device comes packaged with four gelatin foam pledgets and a delivery “push rod” stylet that can be used to deliver the pledgets through a standard biopsy coaxial needle in order to mark the location of the biopsy with a radiopaque Tantalum marker as well as assist in achieving hemostasis. With the Hunter, physicians can now safely perform percutaneous liver biopsies without being afraid of bleeding risks.
